Craniosacral Therapy in Woodville Gardens

Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a very gentle form of bodywork where light touch and stillness are used to support the nervous system and help the body settle, soften, and relax.

Unlike massage, which works more directly on muscles and tissue, craniosacral therapy focuses on subtle rhythms and patterns in the body to help reduce stress and promote a sense of internal ease, without deep pressure.

After a brief conversation, you’ll lie down fully clothed on a massage table. I’ll place my hands lightly on your body (i.e. around your head, shoulders, sacrum, etc) and I’d be listening for subtle responses from your body to support your relaxation and release. Sessions are calm, and quiet or with soft background music.

CST may suit you if you are seeking a gentle, nervous-system-focused experience, or you’d prefer a lighter touch, or want support relaxing at a deeper level.

It is complementary to massage and can be especially helpful for managing stress and tension, or anyone curious about experiencing a mindful approach to wellbeing.
